Jadon, Cole, and Carter welcome you!

Welcome to Jadon, Cole, and Carter's blog. Well, considering they can't type, it is really Mommy and Daddy's blog, but since the primary subjects of almost every conversation are the three boys, we'll say it is theirs. We look forward to sharing the many every day happenings and fun snapshots we experience as life goes on here in our little world. Hopefully we'll even become skilled enough to get some video clips up eventually. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Jadon and Cole!

Well, 27 minutes from now, Jadon and Cole will officially be four years old. Of course it seems like they have been here forever and in that respect, four doesn't seem that old. On the other hand, four seems so old. It is so close to five and to Kindergarten and is totally the end of anything that could be remotely considered toddlerhood. Yikes!

They had there first real "friends" birthday party this past Sunday at there gym, which is called My Gym. We had a Peter Pan cake as that is their favorite theme of the moment. We had a TON of kids and their siblings. Despite the sheer number of kids involved, everything ran relatively smoothly and the boys has a lot of fun. We were having a hard time with the camera. With the flash the pictures were dark and without it they were blurry. This probably has more to do the lack of knowledge by the operator than the actual camera. Below are a few of the pictures that turned out half way decent!

Cole with one of his favorite My Gym instructors, Joe.

Grandma and Grandpa came with the BIG car to help. Thank goodness. We would not have been able to fit the balloons and Jadon and Cole in the car!

The cake! Half chocolate (for Cole), half white (for Jadon) and filled with strawberries and custard. We ordered WAY too much cake and still have some in the fridge!

Cole is getting ready for cake.

Jadon is waiting for his slice to arrive.A group photo (minus a few who conked out early or got cut out of the picture!

Jadon and Cole went home and after playing outside for a while were ready to open presents.

It was a great day and I can't imagine that the boys could have been much happier!

Cole "Avenue"

On Thursday, Cole and I had the pleasure of visiting one of his favorite streets in Los Angeles. We've been down to this street several times for auditions and actually on this day, Cole was shooting for a catalog (I'll wait to put photos from the shoot up until the catalog comes out in the winter since he is wearing clothes from the collection in the pictures I have). Anyway, I FINALLY had my camera with me and Cole finally got a picture with his street sign.

11 Months Old

Okay, so once again I'm a few days late getting this up, but Carter is 11 months old as of May 3! Many things have changed since our 10 month post. Carter is pulling up and cruising now. He has more words including Dada, Mama, dog, ball, balloon, bye bye, bath, night night, and his newest addition..."chicken...bok bok." He refers to every man and every baby as "dada' and he calls preschool aged children "J.J.", which is what we call Jadon sometimes. He is definitely in the generalization stage. He is eating really well now. Some meals he eats more than Jadon and Cole! We are taking a Mommy and Me class with our cousins Stephanie and Samantha and are having a great time with that! His 11 month photo is below and yes, I did take it on the right day! Next update: 1 YEAR!!!!!

Lights, camera, slide!

Yesterday Jadon and Cole had the exciting opportunity to film the opening sequence and promo for a new children's program (Koo Koo Ree Koo) that will be airing on a brand new station (Jewish Life TV) in a few months. A friend of ours is producing the show and was kind enough to invite us to participate. The boys had a BLAST and Arnie took some great pictures! Below you see all the kids on a bridge at the park along with some puppets that will be in the show. Cole is standing up right in the middle and Jadon is directly to the right as you look at the picture.

Jadon and Cole get some brotherly camera time on the slide.

All the kids piled up on the slide for this great shot with the puppets. Jadon is on the front right and Cole is right behind him.

This is a scene from the promo. The boys are supposed to look like little business men on their way to work! Jadon is in the lead car with one of our friend's sons. Cole is right behind them in the middle car fiddling with his over sized sunglasses. Make not of the minivan on the right. It will be pertinent for the next frame.

This is a picture of a very disappointed Cole still in his sunglasses giving his seat in the car up to another little boy. This car was key in the shot because it had a license plate on it the read "Koo Koo Ree Koo" and it was the only car that was required to move for the shot. Let's just say that after Cole nearly wiped out the aforementioned van, the director decided to let a more skilled driver shoot the scene. Poor Cole spent the rest of the time pacing up and down the sidewalk half in tears because he LOVED being in that car!

Despite the near miss car accident, we had a great time. It was a long tiring day, which only got longer as we had to leave virtually straight from their to go out to L.A. for an audition for a job that would actually pay money...can you say college tuition x 3? We'll keep you posted and let you know when Jadon and Cole make their television debut on Koo Koo Ree Koo!
