Jadon, Cole, and Carter welcome you!

Welcome to Jadon, Cole, and Carter's blog. Well, considering they can't type, it is really Mommy and Daddy's blog, but since the primary subjects of almost every conversation are the three boys, we'll say it is theirs. We look forward to sharing the many every day happenings and fun snapshots we experience as life goes on here in our little world. Hopefully we'll even become skilled enough to get some video clips up eventually. Enjoy!

Spring, summer, whatever!

Spring has sprung in a big way around here, or maybe it's summer. I don't know. I think a few weeks ago it was in the 60's. I took the boys to the park yesterday for a play date and lunch and it was 90. And so goes the spring in So. Cal. Anyway, all this warm weather has really gotten us out and enjoying life. We've been spending tons of time riding tricycles (not me personally) around the neighborhood, playing at the park, playing on my college campus (Easter Sunday), visiting the farmer's market, and so on and so on.

My brother and his bride-to-be (Jessi) were here about a week and a half ago. I threw her a "family" shower and we had a great weekend. We won't see them again until days before the wedding. I can't believe how close we are to June.

I am currently on "half" a spring break. Since I am taking classes withing two different college districts, of course, the spring breaks ended up on different weeks. It is actually fine. I am getting a little catch up time, which is great.

I made a big decision last weekend and decided NOT to start my nursing program in August. I am having my application "held" and will reactivate it for the May 2009 term. I just need a little more time with "the baby" and with the big boys in their first year of "real" school before I make this leap. I think the revised timing will be better for all of us. The nicest thing is that because I am taking 17 units now and will take one class at UCLA this summer, my time between the end of August and May will be completely free. I am really excited about that and looking forward to lots of new adventures with Carter while J and C are in school!

That's about it for now. For those watching for it, we have yet to see Jadon's commercial which was slated to start running at the end of this month (on PBS- Sprout). If I see it, I will try to get a link to it and get it up here on the blog.

I'm glad you're not trying to take the super-mom act too far. Now I know when to plan my next visit.
