Jadon, Cole, and Carter welcome you!

Welcome to Jadon, Cole, and Carter's blog. Well, considering they can't type, it is really Mommy and Daddy's blog, but since the primary subjects of almost every conversation are the three boys, we'll say it is theirs. We look forward to sharing the many every day happenings and fun snapshots we experience as life goes on here in our little world. Hopefully we'll even become skilled enough to get some video clips up eventually. Enjoy!

Too much fun!

We got home from Las Vegas about 45 minutes ago. It is now 1:25 am. Why am I up? Because while I was gone my girlfriend emailed me about 30 times with a play by play of Jadon's commercial (which also happens to be her son's commercial). SO, it is running on Disney often from about 6am to 12pm. It will be a limited run as it is just a promo, so catch it while you can! I had had a link here to Disney's website because it was there, but it is gone now.

From what I have been told by the producer, there are more commercials to come, but for now, this is the only one we've seen. I need to call them and get a high quality DVD of everything Jadon has shot for them...then we'll know what is coming too!

Meanwhile, Jadon shot a music video on Father's Day. I wasn't there for it, but apparently he got a nice featured role. We will get a copy of it and hopefully it will make it to MTV and BET, which is where it is supposed to be headed. The video is for a 14 year old new artist named Chani. For those of you who are basketball fans, she is Doug Christie's daughter.

Finally, both boys have a small role in a short film that none of us will likely ever see! LOL! They are shooting that on Wednesday.

That is it for entertainment news for now! I will try to post some Vegas pictures, preschool graduation pictures, and more in the coming days. We have a busy week ahead with my brother wedding next Sunday! Yikes!!

Is it possible?

Is it really possible that I am busier now than I was when I was in school? It certainly feels that way. We have been non-stop "go" everyday for a week now and the rest of the month only gets worse. Some of the highlights of the coming weeks are Jadon and my trip to see "Wicked" tomorrow for his birthday, a trip to Las Vegas at the end of next week, and my brother's wedding at the end of the month. I also start school at UCLA on the 23rd. I am looking forward to being back in familiar territory, but not to the work. I am enjoying my little break here WAY too much. The boys start their singing class next Tuesday again and it also is their last day of preschool. (I am embarrassed to admit that tears just rushed to my eyes as I typed that last sentence). The first day of Kindergarten for them will be Sept. 2. I am fortunate that it is that late. All the other schools in our area start on either the 13th or 14th of August, but because our school is brand new, they are shifting the calendar (just for this year) to make sure they have adequate time to set up.

Several weeks ago the boys did a shoot at the beach for a calendar and I think possibly also a book. The photographer just sent me a DVD with all the photos. There were two shots I really loved from that shoot. Enjoy!

Happy 2nd Birthday Carter!

Today was Carter's second birthday. Sadly we didn't really get to celebrate today. We spent the day doing "normal" stuff like taking the boys to school and musical theater class. We are having a little family party for all the kids this weekend. We did stop and buy cupcakes on the way home from theater class, which Carter insisted on eating before dinner!
